My daughter Breanna and I are MiBre's Basenji. Of course Barry helps with all the Basenji and
is a wonderful caregiver to them. They would not be so well socialized without his and Bre's ministrations. All breedings
are carefully planned with focus on good health and sound temperament. After whelp care is provided by all of us. We take
great pride and pleasure in producing a great Basenji and good family companions.
ALL of our breeding stock is tested for Fanconi and is "Probably Fanconi free". We have OFA checks
done to help prevent the genetic inheritance of diseases such as Hip Dysplasia. Our dogs live in the house with us in a pack.
We (them and us) compete in Conformation and Lure Coursing. In addition we travel internationally. Our Basenji
have competed and hold many International titles form Mexico, Paraguay, Canada and Argentina.
Currently our Brightest Star is Jake who has made a comeback to compete this year again in Canada.
In 2006 he was NO.1 Basenji in Canada and Top 20 in the US with limited showing. In 2007 he broke the record for the most
Best in Shows in Canada held by a Basenji. He is the first Basenji to hold the title Canadian Grand Champion. In 2008
he took time off to learn a little about Lure Coursing. He came in third overall for the year but won Best of Breed in the
AKC National Field Championship. He is one dog to do it all!
